WELCOME.....

.....to So Pet Shop Boys. My website was launched online on 28th May 2000, and was last updated on . I'm hoping that 99.9% of you know who the Pet Shop Boys are, for those of you who don't they are Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe. The design of my website is based on the 'Fundamental' album. Previously it has been based on the 'PopArt', 'Disco 3', 'Release' and 'Nightlife' albums.

I first became interested in the Pet Shop Boys' music whilst watching them perform 'Suburbia' on 'Top Of The Pops' (a television music show in the UK) in September 1986. That weekend I bought the album 'Please'. Since then I have got most of their UK releases and some foreign ones. I have seen them play live three times, all in Manchester in the UK. On Friday 10th December 1999 at the Manchester Arena, on Friday 12th July 2002 at the Manchester Apollo and on Monday 28th May 2007 at the Manchester Apollo. I met Neil and Chris on Wednesday 3rd April 2002 at the 'Release' record signing in Manchester. I have also been a member of the Pet Shop Boys Club since 1995.
Since signing to Parlophone Records in March 1985, the Pet Shop Boys have had 4 number 1 hit singles and more than 35 top 20 hit singles in the UK. They have made a film, written a musical, written soundtrack to a 1925 film and collaborated with many other artists, including Eighth Wonder, Dusty Springfield, Liza Minnelli, Kylie Minogue, Tina Turner, David Bowie, Robbie Williams, Yoko Ono and Madonna.
